Definitely more in manual mode coming from S, not D. you also have to be in dynamic mode.. so be aware of the Audi programming which resets to Auto when you turn the car off and on again even if it says it's in Dynamic.. You must cycle the settings every time.. Next I find the car needs to...- umm

The difference is that this method moves the glass, like you would normally adjust the mirror manually. Whereas with the factory electrical Mirrors, it's the whole housing which moves. It worked for me, but you need to ensure you have the passenger side selected on the mirror toggle switch before making the change in Carista. It wasn't reliable though, ie it would not always return to the original position. I ended up turning it off and just using old fashioned judgement and...- umm
