Depends what you call silly cheap rob. We originally wanted a 2-3 year old c max grand (petrol), when you do see them (rare as rocking horse...) they're ridiculous prices. We've had to swap to looking at nearly new zafira tourer, can be had for about 10k !- SDHA4SLine

Nope, personal circumstances mean my wife gets the shiny new car for family stuff so no point in me having a decent one as it seems a waste of money just driving it too and from work!
