    Well 6 hours later, the new fuel injector and glow plug harness is in, new camshaft cover gasket is in, new tyre is on and car is back together running like a dream. Thanks to Gary for coming to scan it with VCDS and thanks to everyone who helped me sort this out:D

    Thanks guys, the Ross-tech site advises to change the harness before the injectors so I think I'll head down to the dealer tomorrow and order one. Does anyone know the part number? Is it 03G 971 033L?

    Thanks guys, I'll check out the egr and throttle at the weekend. I put some redex injector cleaner in with the last tank of shell and it seemed slightly better at the time. Could have been because it was warmer weather at the time as its only noticeable when its less then 20 degrees outside.
