    But linear springs and progressive springs behave differently. I've messed about with custom bikes and aftermarket shocks for them and back in the day there was always a 'linear' vs 'progressive' debate as the results were different. Would be the same scenario with cars..

    I know what you mean, I had the front end off when we finally offered the honeycomb grill up to the front end and upon inspection even trying to release the grill itself from surrounding part would have been a disaster as all the tabs lookedike they'd snap
