    the coli packs are oem from audi.the old ones i had were in there for 2 years with no issues at all. it runs rough all the time but it is intermittent.when it does start without the misfire i can drive it normally for about 10 mins before it starts to misfire.does not seem to be load related or...

    helllo, yeh thats worth a go.think my mechanic friend owns a 1.8t a3 so should be able to swap them and see if its cured the problem.i would be a bit sorprised if it was coil packs as they were done less than a year ago.at least if that is the problem they should be covered under warranty.

    gearbox is nackered i think.

    got home yesterday,went to shift into reverse to get onto the drive.gear lever got stuck in reverse.managed to get it free again but now only have 1st and 2nd gear no other gears at all and seems to be in gear when the gear stick is in neutral!!! i have been reading all the gearbox posts on...
