Hi guys,
I have an RS3 (2012). Once in a while the car will misfire on multiple cyclinders then clear out and move on. Then other times it will pop once or twice then move on. One other thing is die at idle, but will start and move on. The idle is a bit rough here and there but not...
Looks like a hole in the down pipe maybe? Can't you ask one of the audi guys to have a look without charge? Sure if you bought him like cool drink he could make a plan for ya. Good luck!
No this is specifically coming from the turbo. Not sure if its the inlet or exhaust.
Standing still and I rev the engine it does a quick high pitch whistle. And its not the DV or intake. Was thinking there is a leak right by the turbo itself where it goes off to the inter-cooler or the intake...
Hi guys,
Been getting this noise on acceleration from the turbo. Happens in the mornings then sometimes not during the day when its warmer.
Anyone have this before or any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
Can you not take it back and have them correct it? Surely they cannot give you back your car in worse condition after a service.

I have always heard people say it is an expensive service. Not sure how much it would cost. But the parts could be the pricey bit from what I have seen. I bought mine already and they seem steep.
I am with you on that one. I listen for every little thing and i get worried. First car and all. But we will soon get through it. I try read much as possible, see what people have come into contact with and how they solved their issues. They are great cars I must say.
Looks a bit normal. Is it not that the fuel still travelling to engine? Just a small idea.
On a different note. Get a flat bottom steering wheel mate. It will transform you.
