    Ok thanks, nothing to worry about then as the black wire came apart wasn't sure if to wire it back together or leave it. what do you recommend for the bose wire? I had it plugged into pin 7 for ages and then disconnected it and the mids and base sounded much better, seemed to level everything...

    Anyone know what the brown and black wires are that are not connected to anything behind the rnse, is it to do with an ami plug which I don't have?
