I would have been tempted to have a 4 wheel alignment done on renewing all 4; i've just had 2 contis done for very close to 800 and I'm going back for a check, again our roads.

The whole question is very finance orientated.
I took out a service plan in late autumn last year when the winter offer was available, I pay 32.99/month for an oil change and an inspection service. It was a better planned use of my money, albeit VWFS get my money well ahead of the service and I...
You're spot on. I was beginning to consider changing to an RS5, but the more I learn the less it appeals. For a start the weight is just too much, and the cost has gone beyond reality. I think I'll stick with my current, relatively light, nimble RS4.

Hi,
Today I've had a very similar experience, car locks but does not unlock.
Fob batteries were changed a couple of weeks ago.........meaning I assumed they were OK. Upon changing them {again} all is OK, they were too low. Did you renew your fob batteries ? I don't want teach my granny etc etc...
I have been with Audi Ins for some years, through Q3 BE, RSQ3s and latterly RS4 without any drama. Recently Audi Ins notified me that it was transferring the business to Liverpool Victoria Insurance Coy.
This morning an email arrived offering me continued cover identical to my previous policies...
My previous car a 2022 RSQ3 had the same problem, quite alarming, no other Audi took these fits. So bad were they that my wife did not like travelling in the car nor would she contemplate driving it. I felt a rear end collision was a matter of time. Dealer did not manage to resolve the issue...
I share your feelings.
It is a big annoyance when road repair crews post say a 30 limit and don't put a delimit at the end, one particular example near me means I have to drive some miles with b-gger pinging away.

Hi darius k,
I agree it is very frustrating awaiting a car that is apparently sitting on the dock at Emden. In my time with both Audi and VW I have had mixed experiences and no-one in the order chain could explain the delays. I did however get VW to loan us a car whilst my wife's 8.5R BE was on...
t doubt if Audi are doing or planning to do anything that the Far East has not already developed or is on offer..............................at probably half the price.

Never owned a S4 Avant diesel but driven enough Audi diesels, however my view of which to go for is coloured by costs. The RS4 does not like passing a fuel station without a stop for the premium stuff, the consumables are very expensive, in fact the overall RS 'tax' can be hefty too. For an...
That is dedication, top marks for a lovely job.
I too have identified the crap traps and need to clean them out, may be the liners too. I am not too fussy about the wheels as I had them ceramic coated when the bodywork was done. However you are correct in that cleaning the black gloss wheel...
I'd be tempted to get a quality inspection done. On the car you decide on, a warranty paid for by the seller might also be a good step. From following current popular Audi repair sites any bill could be big, be aware that's all I'm saying. Good Luck.

Aother owner in agreement.
My wife's 8.5 R BE has a screen that's overlarge and has innumerable icons/apps and such unwanted/unneeded crap crammed into it, the car is 7 weeks old. On the other hand in a similar way my RS4 is 15monthe old and has a much smaller screen which too has an overburden...
In the recent past there has been extensive reporting and resolution on the Q3 forum, I think Audi came up with a formal solution, perhaps worth a look.
