    Hey I have had mine a couple of months and yes it is better now. I was playing Spotify via android auto the other day and it sounded good enough. I have the sub and bass turned up nearly to max, about level 8, though. And I've adjusted the fader so it not so much is coming via dash speaker.

    So does anyone know why some new face lift A3's will have the perforated illuminated door interior and light across dash, and some new face lift A3s don't have it? I.e what should be selected in order to get the perforated illuminated door trim? Thanks.

    Hey Luke, I think I replied to you on the other thread about the ambient lighting. I also have the 2025 Black Edition and have the cloth dashboard without the LED light strip going across. It does seem strange that Audi have removed this light strip. Does anyone has any ideas why?

    So about 18months after I started this Thread about the SOS call malfunction, I had 2 software updates this week and it has fixed the issue. My handsfree doesn't fail and the SOS warning no longer appears. Also the MMI no longer reinitialises when signed logged in as the key user. Like @howett...

    Wow...I started this thread over a year ago and there is still no fix. I still get the SOS call malfunction....not just driving through London, but also on longer journeys round the M25 or towards the coast. Still hoping Audi sort out the tech gremlins in their A3.

    If you do a Google search and see the Guardian news article you will see that VW Group have known about the issue since 2017 and there still no fix.

    As the person who started this thread it is a relief to finally see Audi admitting to the issue and saying it is due to be fixed at the end of November. Seeing as it has affected so many cars across VWMG since 2017 it is crazy it has taken them this long. Thanks for sharing.

    Hey Tamara, sorry to hear you are also having same issues. You should be able to reject the car due to a mis-build and get full refund.
