    Yeah they all do that, it's to do with emissions I think. It'll show as Dynamic, but if you look at the gearbox it'll be in 'D' instead of 'S', so you have to cycle through the modes, back to Dynamic again to get it into Dynamic for real.     It would appear my mind was indeed playing tricks on me. They come with a 4k soft limiter when in neutral or park. I must have imagined taking it beyond that.

When I tried to rev it today it wouldn't go past 4k revs. I'm not in the habit of revving the car, but I could have sworn I've been able to rev it as far as I wanted previously.     Yeah it's the rotors that I've got. The car has the "Audi Sport" puddle lights, so I'm guessing it would have had it on the wheels as well, and that they must have been refurbished at some point.
