I am going to try and have a go at this now, as I have noticed the other side of the roof has the same exposed metal. Do you know what the paint code is for the trim?
Cheers
Hey all.
When cleaning my car i noticed the leather stitching showing where the trim is.
On the rear passenger side, the button surround looks fine.
Is this plastic trim piece easily removable so that I can fix it?
Cheers
Hello all.
When cleaning my A3, I noticed some of the paint has come away on the sunroof trim. Because of this the metal is exposed, see picture.
I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this, and if so can it be fixed?
Cheers
I am having trouble getting another head unit connected to my A3 at the moment, after reading your write up the Xtrons unit looks decent.
My A3 has the Bose sound system, is it easy to wire up and get everything working?
Thanks
Ignore that wiring guide, I have just figured out that was for my old Focus harness. The Audi one I purchased has a different layout, which may explain why I have been experiencing issues. I will see if I can get an accurate diagram, thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
Thank you. It would not edit my last post for some reason but I took some pictures.
The short blue wire is the amp one, i had originally joined this with the other blue amp wire. I had initially thought I done it wrong as there was no sound, so I cut it and plan to resolder.
Thanks for getting back to me.
So the year is 2009, my stereo has a quadlock connection see below picture of the car quadlock connector.
I am at work right now, once home I will take the other pictures and update my post.
Cheers
Hey all.
I have been really struggling to get my chinese android head unit working with my A3 I recently acquired.
The car has the double din concert stereo and bose speakers/sub etc, from reading the forums I think it may be the full bose sound system. The head unit powers on and works...
Just got my first Audi, A3 S-Line Black Edition 1.8 TFSI in white.
Had some trouble getting my android head unit to work, will post that in the correct forum. Thought I would introduce myself first, looks like a great community.
