    S3 Sportback .White with black roof. Seen a couple of times. This morning on the A358 near Crowcombe. Also Sprite Blue S3 Sportback in Crowcombe and Black S3 Sportback in Norton Fitzwarren in recent days.

    APR maps ?

    I've got stage 1 APR on my 2.0 TDI Golf Blue Motion. One word "Brilliant". Transformed the car. Acceleration is much quicker. Fuel consumtion is unaffected. Recently travelling from the NEC in Birmingham back home to Taunton in Somerset it was registering 73 mpg. OK I wasn't in hurry cruising...

    Passing 100k s3

    Mines done 105K. Had a new Steering Rack (common fault), top mounts and clutch at about 95K.

    Haldex Issue...

    Thanks for the offer but after fitting another controller which didn't improve things I did a full Haldex service including the filter which was absolutely filthy the noise has gone. Wish I'd done that months ago.

    Another one here. Been running stg 1 for 40K now. Car feels lively and responsive. A much nicer drive than my Scooby which was running 350BHP

    A spacer is only a lump of metal but make sure you get the right length bolts.

    As above, 10mm front and 12mm rear unless you like rubbage. From a safety point of view I'm running 25mm all round on my modded MK2 golf without any issues. I hear some people are running 30mm but think wheel bearings may well suffer.

    Bought my little 1275 Cooper S (in the signature) in 1978 for £180 !! Had it restored in 2007. Sold it in 2015............. Nice little investment:whistle2: When you look back you see the opportunities that you've missed. I was offered a Sunbeam Tiger in the late 70's for £600 !! ....but said no.

    Yes, that was in the pre kids days. Mates had MG's but I wanted something different. Complete rust bucket!! However, wish I'd kept it. I paid £2.5 K for it would be worth a fortune now.
