Doubt many people will be able to look past the mileage to be honest. For the average buyer £4k would probably be pushing it but maybe you can find an enthusiast who appreciates the work you've put into it.

Good luck. Hope to hear how it turns out unlike the other guy!
2.0 TDI
Previously had noticed an intermittent whistling noise and was hoping it would get more consistent so I could diagnose it: https://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/446298/
Now I've noticed intermittent oil burning out the exhaust under acceleration (pretty sure it's oil, looked blue /...
Looking to buy just a few single-use bolts for the engine / gearbox mounts and it's an absolute nightmare finding stock in the UK.. often you'll have no choice but to use multiple suppliers and pay £5-10 (!!!) per bolt (plus VAT, plus postage)
Weirdly the states seem to have an abundant cheap...
2.0 TDI - developed a whistle today audible from 1500rpm+ with a pitch that rises with the revs
Can be heard clearly in the cabin with all the doors & windows closed but can't hear it in the engine bay over the engine noise
Happens in neutral too which I think discounts the turbo / gearbox...
After plugging different parts numbers into OEM part sites, I have figured it out
They changed the design in 2010 for the facelift of the facelift
Still confusing as I've seen many pre-2010 cars on Autotrader with the post-2010 mirrors, clearly not everyone is as conscientious as I am to keep...
Hi all,
I replaced a broken wing mirror recently but noticed (only after installing, of course) that it's a slightly different shape to the existing ones.
Obviously the pre-facelift ones are totally different, but I'm trying to figure out if the facelift mirrors are different by year or by...
You won't need to drain the oil, it's only supplied to the turbo when the pump's running
Can't advise much on removal / fitment except that the nut on the engine side is a pain to get to.
Might want to upgrade to a braided line (Darkside do one) for ease of maintenance on the turbo.
It's the anti-shudder valve, diesels don't have a throttle body
If you clean it off and drive it normally does it come back?
Hard to imagine its oil coming from the air hose as it would need to be forced past the ribbed seal and clamp
Maybe a leak from the dipstick which is dripping down? The...
What exactly happens if you try to unlock the driver's door using the key? Do you hear the actuator clunk in the door?
The door actuator is mechanical so it can still work without power, so if you can insert the key and turn it all the way but the door remains locked, either:
A) the actuator...
Either way, I'd suggest looking in the cylinders after it's sat for a few days. Should be easy to tell if it's diesel, coolant or oil.
What's the colour of your oil like?
Could be worn valve stem seals, oil pooling into a cylinder(s) when it's sitting which gets blown out next time you start it
Have you observed this when you've been sat at a long set of traffic lights? I've heard it can happen then too.
Best thing would be to run it up to temperature, then pull...
