Yeah small world indeed! I was tempted to go out but really don't need any more temptation to chop in the S3. The looks and noise were enough to get me considering.
Where abouts are you based then? I work in Shoeburyness - lucky me !
Interesting thread. Looks like ill be parting with some cash then.
@jungle650 I recognise that seafront. You live in southend? I'll keep an eye out for you.
Getting a bit bored of the Audi bashing on this Audi forum.
I joined up because you all seemed like a good bunch, but please change the ****** record will you. I couldn't give two poops if your car is better or not - but I don't not expect to read people's negative views on a car I paid £40k...
Tell me about it! I've tried all type of man maths possible but it's not going to happen. I'd have to earn double what I earn now to make it feasible and then it would also mean having to buy a second car as the other half wouldn't drive it. We had an A6 before the S3 and she was too scared of...
@jassyo06 I have a question for you - seeing as you appear to be the king of clean on the 8v section!
Had the car detailed Saturday as you've seen above, but now its covered in all sorts of grime after 5 days of use. Doesn't help working on an industrial estate either.
How do I keep on top of...
Hope all goes well, should be a smooth collection day if you did the paperwork already.
Make sure you go over the car 3 or 4 times even if you think you've looked at it hard enough, its better to spot a problem before you leave the dealership.
Enjoy!
Its my car! Brilliant job Daryl thanks again.
The car was supplied by the dealer with some really bad damage to the boot. As if a strap had been rubbing against it. I let Audi collect the car to rectify it. They said they were going to get their external body shop guy to come in and give it a...
Excellent! I've not seen another around yet, does look good in black but just a pig to keep clean.
Ah really? I will have to have a look on there and find it :) I am waiting for a response from Audi UK and then i will pass along to the sales manager. He did tell me that there was nothing wrong...
I have had this feeling with all 40+ cars I've owned. I've tried each end of the scale from a very fast tuned 1980's mini, 400bhp r33 skyline to bigger comfy cars like a e90 3 series and an A6.
Believe it or not, the S3 is actually a car I can see myself keeping. It's a looker, suitably quick...
