100% it'll be worth it. Saving on having to get create a new chassis to put the powertrain in. I've been thinking about this but maybe in 5 years time. Would want to get a pano roof and try to utilise the dsg selector for the gear selection (also for sport and track modes)
I've been watching...
Yeah I locked it in place with an allen key, I'm surprised it snapped your drill bit unless it was 3mm or something haha.
Grabbed a screenshot from a YouTube video just incase you're locking it a different way which shears the drill bit.
Did you tackle the rear brakes yourself, I'm having difficulty trying to remove the top carrier bolt.
Also may be interested in the drivers side one if the damage isn't too bad.
This is a quote from another site.
The mechanic unscrewed the number plate then unclipped the grille at the bottom (top is held in by screws at the top under the lip of the bonnet) pulled it forward and wedged it with a block of wood reached up and managed to locate the catch and used a hook to...
Ahhh the everything black bay, I remember now [emoji28]
Did they feedback if you can pick up more power with any other hardware? Or was it a very optimized map?
Will be going stage 2+ but don't want to have any limiting factors like an aftermarket IC.
I was hoping for around the 360-380 but...
I didn't know they offered a DMF. I got an SMF which is apparently a heavier SMF compared to others which helps with the juddering... i think.
Yeah any work they do is good work though, even when you book in for an inspection the cheif tech talked me through what he'd found so pennies well...
Try maybe a fuse that's in location 30, either on the driver's side of the dash when you open the door or in the engine bay.
That's my guess anyway.

Unsure about the OEM cameras using only 6v.
You could use that 6v signal for a relay wired to a 12v source.
It's a workaround unless 6v isn't the correct voltage and you're just putting a sticking plaster over an issue.

I'd get a set of steelies, then run the spoked alloys whilst the rotors are off to be refurbed.
Then you have a second set of alloys for the winter months.
