    apr are close to releasing the st1. based in gathered info, i dont think it will be more than 475 hp. so +- same results as posted there. good thing that ecu really seems to be unlocked – so wait for more alternatives from other tuners soon

    seems like ecu has been able to unlock – some updates from APR as they say they plan to release st1 during next couple of months. additionally, there are some other companies that unlock the ECU for about 800 EUR in Slovenia (no further details are known)

    so any news from tuners regarding the cracking of the brains? i saw some posts from Iroz w/ Simos equipment, but dude this is not an easy one :) also, some guys from Poland claim to crack it, but no actual proofs. if anyone could shed more light to this, would be cool.

    as for me: front – good (event without the rs3 badge, i don't need to be flashy with it); back – very bad, destroyed the harmony preFL had; steering wheel – horrendous. And this badging problem where new style on the back combines w old style on engine details and other departments, like where...

    Why 8Y quicker than 8V on 100-200?

    Reviewed the answers, it would be really interesting to see the difference on same level of upgrades when ECU will finally be available for tune. For instance, 8V facelift could casually run 100-200 in low 7 secs on st2. What's the upgrade to this discipline that can bring 8y?

    I doubt that intercooler would make a big difference. It would mainly help to get stable times during a number of runs. It is the intake that would make a major improvement.

    IMHO, really looks like an evolution from Nardo to this… Looks stunning when it’s in front of your eyes, plays with different shades from grey to light blue.
