Still got this issue and I’ve been doing a lot of research into carbon cleaning apparently the direct injection engines suffer bad from carbon clean therefore valves could not be searing properly hence needing a carbon clean?
I’ve been told a walnut blast would be needed.

My missus is from cov so I’m up there sometimes, and yes it’s the cam follwer that has been replaced.
@ Davey you mention oil I did have to top it up a litre the other week for the first time since I’ve owned it, it may be related
Ipswich mate, I’ll try and use my mates obd 11 tool when I can and see what’s what,
I have also replaced the roller ball thing
In the direct injection pump which sits on the camshaft and made
No difference just a bit quieter
very hard to describe the situation.
Owned the car a year now, always had a low idle around 640rpm sometimes when you sit in the car you can feel it shake a little, feels like a splutter/very slight misfire. Drives absolutely fine.
If I raise the Revs till about 750 I can’t feel the shake...
I have had lots of problems with aftermarket ones before. Which is why I ask weather a factory fitted
Conversion can be done? Is it as simple as plug & play?
Looking to upgrade my headlights I don’t have daytime runners or anything just standard h7 bulbs.
Was wondering if there’s an Audi conversion kit, or if any was has done a conversion either aftermarket or factory Audi?
Thanks in advance,
Manged to get it all aligned, and all is well at the moment, I did notice however the lever that selects the gear in the engine bay, where it connects to the pinion shaft on the gearbox it is missing a tooth, so maybe this hasn’t help exactly with the alignment
I have picked up the part and it looks completely different for a start I have put it all back together and everything is completely mis aligned worse than before
I did go back there and he is adamant there is no pin. I have bought a clip from Audi and cannot for the life of me get it on.
I’ve ordered another part as well which should be here tomorrow. I’ve attached a couple more photos, one photo is the clip Audi supplied me with, the other is what I...
Hey guys,
Booked the car in for a clutch change and all was well for about 600 miles.

Thanks in advance
Sooo guys, changed my coil packs today, bit of a ******* to do, but there changed, fired the car up and all was well.
Took it down the road and stared misfires badly after a few miles.
Now im not sure if the coil packs are faulty? Or I break the one of the clips the holds the air intake pipe...
I gave up with mine in the end, mine still doesn’t work. I changed the air con pressure switch but still have a leak, other common places to look for a leak are the connection hose/condenser.
The guy at ats reckon it’s still my pressure switch that’s leaking.
