    Good points. I might try the SD first. I have FLAC files not MP3 so it would be a PITA to change them all to MP3. I also figure with the B&O I should give it the best input I can. It is certainly obvious at home when I am listening to crappy and compressed recordings.

    I emailed the dealer, and asked them to let me know when they knew the VIN, as this means the car is well underway. They came straight back with the number. Someone in the dealership is the "stock controller". I presume they have easy access to the entire workflow via the mighty internet.
