    Auto tailgate!

    Changed the battery in the remote and hey presto, it now opens the tailgate! So I also got round to fitting the Kuftec remote close mod I brought a couple of years ago to the tailgate and it will now close via the remote and door switch, happy days.

    The face lift car has the DPF, ours are only DPF prepared. So even if you fit a DPF etc, your CO value will not get adjusted, ever. So there is no incentive to do it. I'm sure they could check your emissions at every MOT...... hang on a sec, they already do this! So if they are really...

    What, I thought you had this sorted?! Well yes and no. The auto tailgate works just fine from the drivers door button and tailgate buttons but it will not open via the remote. I'm guessing its a coding thing, but the coding option is still greyed out on VCDS and VCDS shows no coding present...

    Just tried 12345 and got an error message saying that the module does not accept/support that input, tried it on another module and it said code not accepted so i'm guessing that the tailgate module 6D is not programable from VCDS :(

    Yes, that is usually the case but unfortunately not for this particular module :( The Ross Tec wiki also has no info for the 6D trunk electronics for the A6 C6 4F.

    Does anyone know the security access code for the [6D] Trunk Electronics for an A6 C6 4F? I have fitted a pair of second hand tailgate motors that appear to have no coding on them, the old motors had 0733334002 coded but there is nowt on the replacements and as such they are not working outside...
