    Hi all. Just bought A3 1.5 tfsi Cod. 2018. After owning a couple TDIs ten yrs ago but it has one or two issues the interior lights do not work ! and the multifunction steering wheel controls stay illuminated when key removed. Any help appreciated TIA.

    Headlight bulbs.

    I know this may have come up before but how the heck do you change the bulbs in the headlight cluster on a 2009 A3 TDi ??? the only way I can see is to remove the headlight assembly is this right? if so do I need to remove the bumper first? PLEASE someone tell me there is an easier way...

    Door locks

    Both the nearside doors do not unlock on my 2009 A3 with the handset, will unlock ok from the inside, I know this may be a common problem and I am most likely going have to replace both locks but before I do is there any chance the locks can be repaired??? also can anyone recommend a supplier...

    Thanks SORTED reset all the windows and everything is working now, though I never disconnected the battery? could be voltage drop due to the cold weather perhaps?

    I can no longer operate the windows on my 2009 A3 TDi via the handset, they work O.K. from the controls inside the car but not from the remote handset,,,, was working fine until recently, any ideas? Central locking works fine and the battery seems O.K. Thanks.

    Central Locking

    I also have the same problem but with rear N/S door locks but will not unlock with the fob,once unlocked from the inside door opens O.K. but when locked by the fob will not unlock !! I am thinking is this a lock/actuator fault or possibly a relay?? will check if it stops raining. Regards. Rommel.

    I use GREEN mineral oil as the RED synthetic does not mix with Diesel fuel like water does not mix with oil so no probs there!. Besides HMRC and VOSA have chemical testing kits that can identify what is in the tank
