    Steering wheel upgrade confusion

    Yeah you don't need to do that. Every time I've taken off an airbag I've just disconnected the battery as a precaution and left the ignition alone. I have also disconnected an airbag before without removing the battery (forgot) and it was fine. I'd still disconnect the battery though.

    Carbon trims only came in S4, RS4 and DTM's All threes of my B7's have it. Makes nice difference There's a full set of RHD S4 carbon with ashtrays on one of the facebook groups. £300 ish

    From memory they're plug and play besides the multi function steering wheel control. There a pin or two that needs switched position I believe My car has RS3 wheel but I've had it probably 10 years now I'd love to but I couldn't walk you through it from memory alone. But it's very easily done
