In my head it would be worse if they didn’t open fully at higher rpm and loads to be honest. Which the ASR still fully opens when controlled by the car rather than overriding and being fully open.

I had one on my pre-FL and loved it. It's never going to make it sounds like a pre-OPF car but it does allow noticeably more sound and means that you can choose to have the valves open at slow speed and in more relaxed drive modes, which I really liked. A few times I got some good burbles and...
To be fair, my electric car is perfectly fine for commuting. I'd even go as far as to say that it's better than the RS3 was overall just for going to and from work.
That being said, it'll never fill the excitement and fun gap the RS3 left when I sold it and if I could afford to have both I...
I would imagine that they are set up with beam patterns specific to which side of the road they're designed for, hence the different numbers. I know that you can select in the MMI for switching the headlights for driving on the other side of the road but I think that only flattens the beam...
You may also find that the car was left idling to warm the oil before dropping it, and potentially at other times as well which will make the economy look pretty poor and knock on to the estimated range.
Totally agree, just from my limited interaction with them they don’t appear to perform as well as the Michelin or Bridgestone options in more typical British weather is all.

Not personally, but a friend has a 992 911 GTS with them from factory and in anything other than relatively warm and dry roads they're less than ideal. Pulling out of a junction normally in the damp and about 10°C the back end was trying to step out.
They're really good in the right conditions...
Only when it was very wet, like I said in that sentence. Not like I drove round at a million mph everywhere, but on occasion I drove more quickly in the wet and could definitely get ABS and TC to activate.
I actually felt like they turned in more quickly than the Bridgestones for some reason. I know people have commented the sidewalls are softer, but at road speeds they felt sharper (to me).
The Bridgestones weren't bad in wet conditions at all, but I still noticed there was less ABS and...
I swapped from them to the Michelin PS4S's with only a few thousand miles on them and found I preferred the Michelins in all conditions. The most noticeable thing for me was that they handled the cold significantly better than the Bridgestones I found, to the point that a hard frost or bit of...
Do a few very hard brakes from 70-80 mph to 10 mph and it may well sort it out. I did that when I first got mine and they were fine for the time I had it.

Because of the 'pearl' nature of it the colour changes depending on how the light strikes it. Here's a couple examples of my 8Y in different light to show what I mean.
I don’t have an answer, but if I had to guess I’d say it was the touch pad for locking since the unlock is still working.

I guess it’s more down to how much the little swirl marks on them will annoy you during ownership if you’re only going to have it a couple years. I did mine when I had it and really appreciated it on the piano black bits of the pillars because they stayed swirl free which made me happy...
