On my second Audi at the moment, first was in early 2019, but only kept it a few months (old A3 Sportback, upgraded to a new A4 Avant).
I start to find that maybe the front end is a bit intimidating for people and they react negatively to it!
I love the front end of newer Audi's as it's edgy...
I was on a trip from London to Cardiff and back at the weekend, and had my mind on it while I was on the road. Really didn't see many A6's at all. Maybe saw one A6 Avant the entire journey. Are they not so popular? The more I think about them when I'm out and about, the more I realise I rarely...
Those are all short term economics. It's not cynicism to point out that low volume next-gen tech is wasteful, it's common sense, but it is myopic. Up there with sleight of hand techniques used by climate change deniers and agriculture lobbyists.
So I'm relatively new to Audi's and estate cars. Small cars just stopped being practical as I tend to haul luggage and bikes inside them, and just generally like being able to have a useful car with loads fo space and great mpg.
So I went from an A3 Sportback, then four months later got an A4...
I think Audi are smart to dodge hybrids and work towards electric only platforms. That's the future. Hybrids are an awkward eco-conscious plaster over a festering wound. Sooner all models go fully electric the better for everyone.
I have a scuba blue A4 Avant with the windows tinted and the chrome just doesn't suit it much at all. I've been shopping for dechroming quotes and think I might bite the bullet if I can get it down to £150.
The roof rails are also chrome though. (Not sure these are actually called rails, but...
Only on when ignition on. Basically they tried putting in a new instrument cluster, that didn't take, so they put old one back in and then all those warning lights came on again and stayed on.
Radio error code came on too and they can't get rid of it.
They quoted me £110 for removing the...
Hey guys,
I'm having a job done on my 2012 A3 Sportback. The warning lights came on it and stayed on so an electrician had to code it to remove them.
The car garage, (some old slightly dodgy one, but local), said he doesn't have a receipt from the electrician and won't let me speak to him...
I've been told by the garage to source a new A3 instrument cluster using the registration plate. The Audi dealer said they won't give out part numbers under company policy. Had a look online and didn't see a place where I could do this either.
Anyone know how I can source the right instrument...
I changed my rims recently and am selling the original 17's that came on the Ultra Sport. A buyer is asking if they'd fit on his 2005 A4. Had a Google but couldn't find a definitive answer. Anyone understand how this works?
Trying to find examples of the B9 Audis done with it before I dive in. I had what I think was 30% (Global Tints's Luna) on an older grey A3 Sportback which was fine but did looks pretty dark from the outside. Not sure about going for something that dark again, especially with the blue paint...
Haha yeah I remember the last time I was in Makro... trolley filled with buckets of gummy sweets :D
Got the Eagle 3 Asymmetrics.. was around £417 delivered and fitted.. just wondering if there's going to be an issue with the fitters. I want them to take the existing wheels off, and fit the...
Awesome, that's the best deal I've seen around by far! Cheers!
Typically of course.. I'd gone and ordered from Blackcircles already first thing this morning.. This would save me around £85 though (after factoring in 15quid membership fee). Tempted to try and get a refund and go for these :D
Cheers Archer, priced up the Potenzas on Costco there and with fitting and discount works out around £430 roughly.. quite nice. Goodyear Eagle 3 works out at £417 fitted.. not much difference though the efficiency rating is E on the Potenzas and I think C on the Eagle 3s
Wondering why this tyre is rated as having a higher fuel efficiency in a larger size. It jumps from E to B. I thought a tyre would be less efficient because it has higher rolling resistance...
I'm eyeing up the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymetric, but not sure if the EU rating is off for it...
Just a regular Avant Sport, TDi... not sure which tyres are the worn ones yet, as to be honest, I can't tell by looking at the pics... definitely pretty risk adverse myself though, especially if it saves £££ haha :D
