    Thanks for the reply SDHa4Sline, yeah I was thinking of changing the cool temp sensor cuz its a cheap part to replace. ill try that next!

    Thanks for the replies , much appreciated! Well the check engine light is lit and I scanned the codes and it came back "exhaust gas flow insuffient' so do you think this problem could be rectified by simply cleaning the manifold and egr valve? Thanks

    cold start rough crank blue/grey smoke? help!

    HI, my audi a4 2.0tdi b7 is hard to start from cold and theres a cloud of blue/grey smoke coming out of the exhaust once started. once the engine is warm its fine. no smoke when driving or starting. heres a video. many thanks

    thanks for the reply, but would glowplug problem have blue smoke? id of thought it would be black etc i hope your right because oil valve seals are a nightmare to change :culpability:

    and the rattling is unrelated it is the aircon pulley disappears when aircon is on!

    Hi all, I've been having trouble starting on the morning and when it does start there's a cloud of blue/Greg smoke that follows for a few seconds then disappears once warmed up there is no issues. I have a check engine light that reads egr flow insuffient could the two be related? Glow plugs...
