    Never did finish the story on this one......in the end Audi replaced the gearbox. I contributed whisker over 2k....the invoice total was nearly 9.5k for the box in the end. Thankfully I didn't pay the full amount.

    I'm going to sort it. Had to hot shoe it home today (not overly difficult in an RS5) as the car is squealing. The squealing goes under acceleration. I'm guessing that this is linked to the mechatronic gremlins. I'm not mechanically inclined unfortunately to that extent. It's a bit of a pain...

    I'm not sure if you can but I'd be intrigued to know how you get on. My car is displaying malfunction. It clears itself by I know at some point it's going to fail. 3000 is a fair amount of money. I am going to investigate other specialists to fix the car. Always used a main dealer for everything...
