    S3 exhaust mods …

Possibly. Assume they’d have to be removed to check that? Which would mean dropping back box. Didn’t try restarting as it was in eco when I started up.

    S3 exhaust mods …

Thanks. I’ll check to see if they’re unplugged first, is the cable above the back boxes? If they are I’ll grab my vcds cable and check the link you sent. They aren’t meant to be black and in person they both look equally sooty

Also, does the S3 have exhaust valves? And is it possible they’ve been set to permanently open? It is loud even on start/tickover. I’ve got vcds, well I did have I need to test it as been sat in the garage for years

    S3 exhaust mods …

I recently bought a pfl s3 that is stage 2, decat and res delete. I thought I liked all the noises , but might want to quieten it down a tad at some point. I have the original cat, but understand it needs a remap to add this back in. What would be my best bang for buck here if I do want to...

    EGR valve

+1, get shot of it. your wallet and your DPF will thank you for it. P.S. when your DPF gives up thanking you for it, get rid of that too, better still get them both done at the same time

I would recommend some grease or WD40 on the joins of the linkage as a preventative measure pal.

    Headlights aiming low

I'm a tight ****** me lol. Needed it sorting as I've got a fair few miles to do this week. The alternative fix I considered was to tape the arm up in the level position which might have lasted a bit longer and wouldn't have caused any problems as I don't tow. I'll get a replacement soon....

    Headlights aiming low

lol, not my neatest work i must say! i'm going to look out for a second hand one. its obvious why its failed; where the bottom of the arm attaches it is like a semi circle plastic clip that clips on to a ball bearing shaped clip on the lower arm. there was corrosion and it was solid so as the...
