I've just had my car back with the final attempt at this. It went in 3 times while they added more sound damping material to the parcel shelf and pillars. This last time, the master tech specially purchased some extra thick material from an audio specialist, completely removed the parcel shelf...
Sorry to hijack this thread but on a similar subject, what's the voice command for 'navigate to home address' - I've never managed to get this to work. (I have got a home address saved in the nav)
You might be right - I always used to go for the '2 year approved used' type of car before I got the S4, no reason I can't go back to that.
No regrets changing to the RS4 then?
So, potential diesel S4, no V8 in the RS4, exhausts with no drama, dual touchscreens without ergonomic switches. I'm starting to feel this will be my last Audi for a while.
And the last time I was at a BMW garage, I heard 3 separate 430i's pull away and thought 'wow what a great noise'...they...
I think all Audis do that, at least when it's raining, to clear the water off them. You can feel it if you happen to brake when it's doing that, as the brakes bite a bit sooner.
Exactly this: Having coded it with OBDEleven, I only ever press the stop button - both Park and Handbrake are applied automatically 100% of the time. Why press three buttons when you can press one?
Don't they release updates during the year as well? So if you updated the maps say 3 times during 2018, is that 3 of your 5 taken permanently for your vehicle?
It’s replacing a Freelander 2 so we know some of the LR foibles, but that’s been faultless since we’ve owned it. I know the Evoque is a risk but do know a couple of people who’ve owned and liked them. You’re right though the style is a big factor.
And the rattles won’t be driving me mad, I’ve...
We’re about to replace my wife’s car with an Evoque with Cirrus - love the look over the black leather but worried about marks. Can you get most out or will we regret not getting black?
The only thing I can add is that my car was in a couple of weeks ago and had an MMI update to stop funny noises from the speakers. Waze / ios12 / Carplay all play very nicely - I only get the compass when Waze is active, then if I close the app I can go back to MMI nav.
I asked the same question here but nobody else bit:

I too can feel it clunk through the steering wheel. My car went into the dealer and they said they couldn't fault it, nothing is loose and the pedal travel is normal. I asked to...
