    I think the fault is down to headlights but could someone clarify the self levelling normally drops and rises again to find level when first turned on? I know the older models do but can't remember on mine as the wife normally drives it, and the headlights aren't "finding level" like I thought...

    Thanks for the q&ha list, one thing I've wondered is whether I can fit a second hand unit that's been activated and it will work? Seen sets online for £350ish and think I've found one who has been activated already, would this work?

    Had to chuck the test map on quickly as laptop was dying, no warnings and will check later when dark whether they work. Hopefully all ok but will let you know, and hopefully I've activated the cornering lights and coming home/leaving home correctly. Thanks again and will be sure to let you know.

    I've never done an auto scan so how do I perform? It's a s line tdi with standard xenon headlamps, not led or adaptive as far as I know?

    40,000 on mine, 2013 tdi s line. Can't believe how low everyone's mileage a are, maybe people but cheaper Astra vans etc for the miles, we have 2012 ones come in work on 250k!!

    Still uses same software I'm afraid. I use verdict which is limited, but does all makes to a level. But yeah costly at £4K

    Use snap on a daily basis, and for coding etc it's not that easy it's not guided, adaption is still on numbers rather than description so all can be done but you need to know all codes etc. I use VCDS for all VAG as its a lot more in depth.
