Are you doing trackdays or just driving on horrendous roads?
Don't think I've ever had the ABS kick in (other than in snow) and only seen the traction control light once or twice.
Can almost release the sensor through the honeycomb grille, managed to release the bottom lug but cant get enough pressure on the upper lug.
Will give it another go some time.
Is it possible to remove the undertray to gain access to the space between the intercooler and the back of the grille?
The sensor next to the reg plate is damaged, looks like a stone has hit it (what's the chances).
Audi want £458 to replace it.
Does anyone know what is involved in replacing one? The part is £35
Free pot of glue required to pay those prices - insane!
Not sure what I will go for next but got a bit of an urge to go back to a Megane RS Trophy, brilliant car!
I've had something similar, only once and didn't get any error messages. It was in 1st gear and felt like it jumped out of gear, bit of a bang and a jolt. I was barely moving, just manouvering around the car park at work.
Sunday morning I woke up to all 4 windows being down - it had been raining so it was a bit wet in there! The car was parked up from around 5pm and I can see on my cameras that at 7.30pm the windows were up. Keys weren't touched after 5pm so it's done it all by itself.
Disabled global...
The water you can see is on the outside.
The problem is the complete lack of any heat until i've driven 5 miles - which is diffuclt when I can't see where I am going
I've been using a windscreen cover the last few weeks (when i remember to put it on) and that solves the problem.
Mine was done yesterday. Guy said it would have been £530 if I had been paying for it.
Nothing to report.
14k miles
