    I’ve got the 3.0tdi b7 bkn engine, so just to clarify, did the letter for the airbag recall mention the emissions recall/update on the same letter? I’ve had my airbag recall done, and there wasn’t any mention of the emissions recall.

    That’s interesting, yeh, i dont think there’s much in it. My mechanic that i use said that 95% of people wouldnt even notice it. Lol. He did suggest it may be worn vain mechanism within the VNT mech. Thanks for replying.

    I’d definitely take the bottom hoses off the intercoolers and drain what you can, better still, if you can, get the intercoolers off the car and give them a flush out.

    It may be a coincidence but the eml light has been intermittent since i put 1ltr of Dipetane through the car. Went for the 1 lt per half tanks and drive around at high revs for probably 200 miles.

    Yep keeps coming up With same fault code. No management light on, until this evening. But after driving with it on for ten minutes, again no change in performance, got back to the house, turned off the car, turned it back on and eml has cleared itself. Guessing the code will still be stored...

    I think I’ll have to take the throttle body of and see if electrically the flap is physically moving..
