    Id work through this (been here before) Pcv pipework all out, all of it, check it all thoroughly and replace anything looking tatty Check pcv valves, hockey puck, non return valve and diverter. Not fixed? Spark plugs Coil pack Throttle body. Surely its fixed now? :) Sent from my XT1572...

    Brief update. Looking to get an engine hoist on payday and pull the Agu out with my step dad's brother.. Going to strip what's worth trying to sell from the tatty girl and then offer the shell to anyone that wants it. I have a spare sump with sensor so that will go on it.. I'll get some photos...

    Sorry for thread revival! What did you do in the end? Any pointers if you did use an AGU? I''m about (coming weeks!) to remove the AGU engine and pull all the bits from the AUM that are needed (VVT, throttle, cam cover, sump). Sent from my XT1572 using Tapatalk

    One thing I did to diagnose coil pack versus sparks versus cylinder was to unplug coil pack 1 at a time, if idle gets worse it's fine, if it stays the same it's the culprit. Then swap a coil between good and bad and see if it moves, if it doesn't them swap sparks, if that doesn't move it then...
