    Cam belt and water pump was done at 71k at Bolton Audi, car now has 74k so car in booked in for a full service next week, so will get the DSG serviced at the same time.

    Thanks for the reply, I'm not expecting the insurance to be cheap living in central London,quotes have been coming back around £2 - 2.5 with him as a second driver which I don't think are to bad considering he will be 17. Does the DSG oil and filters need changing every 40k miles?

    Finally exchanged the S3 for a TDI

    Yea when arranging the deal having not viewed the car I was very concerned about the interior. When I finally got to see the car I have to say the interior is more of a burnt orange and really compliments the black, it's no where near as loud as it seems in photos and is very subtle.

    If it helps I recently purchased the misses a A3, it's not a S3, however does have the similar seat with the Capri orange. I have to say the pictures do not do it justice, in reality they look lovely and really lifts the interior into another dimension.

    It was more a case that we live in central London and she found the s3 drew a lot of attention, the wrong attention in her words! She also found the car very powerful having come from a diesel, so she is now it another diesel, this time an Audi as apposed to a Mercedes.
