Seeing as it’s so quiet in the Allroad section here, thought I’d post a pic of my 3rd Audi. S4 -> RS4 -> Allroad. It’s terra grey (or jobby brown as my wife calls it).
Good balance of abilities and nice to be able to relax on single track roads and not fear for the RS’s 20” alloys every journey...

My old 2018 B9 S4 Avant - B&O - Excellent, to the extent that it was a ‘must have’ when I bought my next car.
2019 B9 RS4 - B&O - underwhelming and never sounded as good as in the S4. Settings played...
It works well, just don’t over apply. Good for wheels too.
Not as good as Garage Therapy’s Sigma2 or EZ’s Chromance though. Better results but the fact that you can apply Turtlewax when damp/wet and use it pretty much as a drying aid is a good selling point.
Sure it’s already been said but dealer stamps or good indie for service record and do all other bits and bobs like discs & pads yourself and keep receipts.
Depends on your requirements and the depth of your pockets..
If you are doing big motorway miles then settle for the torque in the diesel S4 and you won’t go too wrong.
If you are keen to turn corners then the RS4 is easily your pick. Just beware of the running costs, especially brake discs and...
