Sounds similar to what happened to me. In my case it was a brand new wiper motor fitted. Although whilst the wiper blade is off, i would take a safety pin and scrape out any gunk in the little 90 degree rubber nozzle that fits on the washer jet. I fitted the new motor once before I did this and...
That's a little bit of a relief that it's not going to blow my engine up in the long run. Is it just a trait of the engine? I'd still like to fix it if possible
Hi guys,
I've got an issue I've been noticing for a while since I've had the car. It's never been an issue with the cars performance but now I systematically have checked that I'm not just being paranoid, I thought I'd ask for some help trying to solve it.
In short: I start up my 2.0T...
Ooo they sound good! I'm neither made of money or am very knowledgeable about this currently so I'll probably stick to tried and true, reasonably priced...for now ;)
Oh sweet, sounds good. That's even closer than AMD!
Awesome. I would be over the moon with ~50. I'd probably be looking for something sensible in terms of torque. Still got to be my daily driver for now!
Hey guys thanks for all the input. I'll be in touch with AMD as it isn't that far away from me and have some exhausts on offer. Will consider the development gap between Revo and APR as well. AMD are stating their tuning would give me +60bhp. Is that really realistic from an ECU remap?
Cheers guys, this is confirming a lot of what I heard about Milltek! Seems like a good place to start. Revo also seems like a good bet but I will fish around for some bargains :)
Hi Guys,
Could use some guidance if anyone is willing. I'm looking to get a stage 1 remap for my 2.0TFSI Quattro A3. I've heard good things about AMD tuning, REVO and APR from some of the veterans here on ASN. I'd love to hear from anyone who has personally experienced any of these remaps...
I just did this today and I was genuinely surprised how easy it was. Simply a friction fit! Thanks for putting a video together for anyone in future looking to do this.
Just updating this for no real reason other than to show anyone interested what the inside of a knackered wiper motor looks like when washer fluid is leaking inside of it!
Thanks deerhater. I was worried as much. Looking at a few non-oem replacements that I can pick up tomorrow to fix whilst I still have a day before work.
Hi all,
Would appreciate some guidance on this one. Decided today was going to be a good day to do a standard car check (oil, fluids and such). Found my rear wiper wasn't spraying any washer fluid. Odd. Read around on the subject and from what I've found its probably the washer fluid feed has...
That is a lot! I wish you luck on it man and look forward to seeing it progress.
I'm still new to most of this but I'd like to keep it OEM+ mostly. Rs6 alloys and facelift tail lights. Considering some old school rs6 LEDs on the front and mod them to the current headlights. S3 or RS3 grill...
These ones!
By modular, I mean they'll slot right into older models of VW/Audi. Would look absolutely awesome retrofitted into the A3 but I imagine they're a bit more complicated than that!
I have seen that and don't think that's my style either AudiLeon96. TT air vents are a good shout actually. Would be interesting to see whether, in time, we'll get a modular version of the mk3 TT air vents. Those are wicked!
