I got 51k quote for s6 with metallic paint and comfort pack. This includes tech pack and adaptive suspension and upgraded seats you don’t get in regular.
Is it worth it? Devil is in details. Reviewers say standard 50tdi has sluggish gearbox, slightly gruff engine and not that special through...
Ok so I speced up one of these on car wow And was offered 13k or 20percent discount already.
A 50tdi black edition was giving me 23 percent. Personally I prefer the black edition looks. Standard s alloys are quite rubbish, worse than sline imo.
It’s a lot of extra money but you do get adaptive...
I have 18 wheels but still ver hard. Don’t get me wrong the suspension is good considering how little travel there is to work with. Problem is on Ayshire roads the undulations and pot holes are too much for any car this low.
The seat is not too bad now but I much prefer cars I have test driven...
I adjusted the seat to nearly straight plus plenty of thigh support plus very particular distance back. When I sit up very straight and have settings just right I find it ok now. Still much prefer the normal trim seats but maybe I’m just getting to that age.
This whole car is just too hard for...
I have long legs so can't really bring it too close. Between this and the hard suspension, I kinda regret my purchase to be honest.
An a4 allroad, an xf or an e class would have suited me better. Ah well, just 3 more years to go .....
hi again,
Struggling to get comfortable in my sline seats on a.4dt avant.
Tried a lot of positions and watched a few videos. I am 6 foot, 1inch and have long legs, slight belly.
I find it needs to be quite upright with my head virtually touching the head rest all the time. I thought that head...
You probably won't notice the Quattro but you will notice the sweet sounding v6 every time you press the throttle ....
However, the Quattro is arguably more useful in that it's a bit safer and could be used in that rare occasion of snow or muddy field ....
Problem with jaguar is they don't own their own finance companies so the pcp deals are rubbish.
Xe looks better on the outside but not on the inside. I also would find the right racing style position claustrophobic after a while.
Still, expensive plastics are a bit overrated I think...
I use it every day. Traffic jam assist doesn't require input every 30 seconds and so is really relaxing.
St higher speeds I find the steering assist less useful. Adaptive cruise control is really excellent and smooth though.
Normal cruise control is basically rubbish.
It's very good though. Doesn't slam on the breaks when someone cuts you off. Unless it has to of course.
Also it's able to keep a pretty close distance at high speed. That same distance no closer at low speed though which is a shame.
Thanks man,
I'm actually taking one last punt and having an independent opinion from well respected Local Audi specialist. He's going to take a longer test drive and a longer look underneath. He will also price up a change to comfort setup.
I don't mind second hand but you simply don't save...
Saw Audi today.
The master technician agreed he felt it was surprisingly firm and that he had experience of loads of a4s.
However nothing was found wrong with it in the inspection and there is nothing they can do.
Looks like the end of the line. I'm looking into trading it down.
Got another appt Saturday for second look.
However, actually think this is normal. Roads are not great here but I can handle the low speed ride.
It's the high speed ride that bothers me. On non perfect B roads or even motorways I usually get a constant rumble, vibration with fairly hard bump...
Hmm I guess I haven't tried.
The firm seat is starting to bother my back too. I think I'll just take the hit and live with the car for three years. No point throwing good money after bad.
Next time comfort will be much more of a priority.
hi there,
I raised this in another thread and had it all checked out. My sport b9 suspension is working as intended and has done 1000 miles at time of writing,
I am looking to swap with someone who has se comfort suspension. Ideally In a car that has done less than 10k
I will pay for...
