    Haha DJAlix how did you know it was a AliExpress special . I am trying to use pin 13 which is for the reversing camera and takes a mini fuse in the brown fusebox.

    Chris did you have any joy getting to the bottom of this? My 2019 A5 is doing exactly the same and a month out of warranty. I have found that switching the engine on and off seems to sometimes trick it back into working.

    Finally got the car back a month later, after replacing the water pump (which was leaking already) it was the heater matrix in the end that was blocked up and causing issues with the engine overheating.
