The push rod was just that a rod with a ball at each end, easy to pull out and push the new one in. What I did was buy a second hand cylinder cut and extended that rod and then just got it swapped over when the car was up in the air for a brake change. It has been utterly faultless since
Heat management then ceramics are your friend, if the stopping power is enough with the macan then look at carbon discs for those, check out midland ceramics, they do bespoke applications and can make you whatever disc you need
I’ve not done my Audi, but virtually every other car I’ve had, including my GTR. It could be as others have suggested just loose trim or screws. But doing a proper job will improve the sound and make the car feel a bit more premium.
Door card off and dynamat the door skin itself, if you want to go to the extra effort some closed cell foam as well. I also do the back of the door card with dynamat but you need to be more careful with this so you can still fit the door card after.
I bought one of these, it fit perfectly with the standard wiring and worked first time.

in your case I would check fuses and that you are getting feed to the motor.
