    I could do with a new number plate carrier...has two parking sensors in it. Mine is looking tired on the top edge. Doesn't look like an easy part to get, I think it's just part of the grill in that you can't buy it separately.

    Today I worked on the chrome insert in the front grille. I know it's not real chrome of course. It had been looking slightly dull here and there, but very dull / tarnished along the bottom narrow section, pretty awful actually. I used Autosol on the insert, the Audi rings and the Sline badge...

    Yes there's some benefits to nitrogen, dry inert gas that doesn't leak as easily, and not affected by weather temp changes...according to chat gpt! Is that why some people have green dust caps?

    I let my tyres down this morning. I had them at 35 psi cold, but this hot weather made a noticeable difference in pressure, so much so the ride was getting pretty hard. 35 when cold goes up to about 39/40 psi when driving on a hot road etc, plus the stiffer SLine setup with badly maintained...

    Thanks Rob. Have to say, the quartz grey does have such a nice hue to it in the flesh and at certain angles. I'd crack the two front windows open in this heat, but not today given what happened earlier.
