I owned an M3P for 18 months and I never got anywhere close to 300 miles at 90 percent. Maybe 225 to 250 in ideal conditions. In cold likely 1/2 of that. I’m pretty suspicious of anyone suggesting they are getting 300 miles out of an M3P. I don’t believe an M3P gets 300 real world miles on any...
My 23 RS3 which I bought off the lot has the carbon ceramic option. They squeak quite a bit. There’s no real rhyme or reason. It comes and goes as it please. But pulling up to my kids school in a kyalami green rs3 with squeaky brakes isnt exactly subtle. I’ve read this is an expected thing with...
I posted last week that my volume button/disk is not working. It's completely dead. From what I can tell, that disk is also responsible for resetting the MMI. Well, my sirius/xm has stopped working now. It's not a signal issue as the car seems to think the signal is fine but there is no...
Noticed tonight that my volume disk / circle MMI power button is non responsive. It doesn’t light up, doesn’t work and can’t even be used to power down the MMI system. Any ideas? Thanks.
You can reduce the range on a Tesla in the cold. I traded my model 3 performance 3 months ago. In winter it was 125 to 150 miles of range. In summer about 225 real world - so a big reduction. That said I agree that there is a lot to like. Build quality is fine. Not 65k fine but 40k fine. It’s...
Tesla has its own issues in the cold. Like reduced performance and increased battery drain. So she can gloat, with available power and range sapped by 50 percent. Plus ask her how the wind noise is at 65mph…
I agree that the sound is part of the experience. Not unlike a home theater. The sound makes the theater not the screen. The RS3 sound can't be matched by a Tesla or most ICEs. It's glorious.
Like it or not, this is the future of cars. My 13 year old will only know silent. I'm not sure the Tesla M3P is souless. It sounds like a tie-fighter on throttle. My kids love it. I think it has soul because Tesla dialed in the steering ratio to be absurdly quick making it a fun drive and...
