    Usual stuff. Tyres, as Audi seem quite happy to sell cars with cheap tyres and low tread. Front disc thickness. Audi have indicated that I need new ones, after just 20k!!. Seat wear and operation.

    I've definitely heard some real pops from the tailpipes, after lift-off/overrun at highish revs in S mode. It also does fake ones, which are bassier. Mileage is around 20k. The combination sounds really good.

    Since most of the engine noise is generated electronically (at least in Dynamic) and played through the speakers, does the engine sound 'better' with the B&O system than the standard system? Any thoughts?

    I can feel the drive re-engage, but it's smooth and unobtrusive. Perhaps the drive re-engaged and immediately shifted gears?

    It's not a noticable braking force, like in an electric car. Wish it was, because the servo on the 8Y is designed for EVs, and it's 'feel' is crap.

    I think NOT having the boomerang rev counter is a bonus! I've got just the standard VC and it's fine (having come from a TT, which had the plus as standard!). I really like the pale blue gauges and sweep colours. TBH, I only really look at mph, fuel, the clock and, for interest, sometimes mpg.
