    I went 8P S3, B8.5 S4 at 480bhp, now the X4 35D. call it becoming a dad or the 30s creeping up, I like the idea of cheap(er) miles and less tax… since the wife got a A3 saloon I can’t help but find myself reaching for her keys if we do any miles and don’t need the space. It’s a effortless 55mpg+.

    Well, I believe I’ve fixed the issue. Turns out I’m 26 going on 70. Oops. Just had a look and the option now wasn’t greyed out and I could activate the headlight conveyor. Turns out the lights need to be on for it to be turned on. Surely I’m not the first to do that.

    I’ve been through the manual and it just states about turning the function on in MMI as I have xenons but it won’t let me turn the function on to automatically dip the left. Worst case I’ll just get some beam benders but seems unnecessary if I can do it via the onboard.

    The option is in the MMI just weird how it’s there but not available to select. My car is a 62 so one of the first B8.5s so maybe it wasn’t available then but the softwares been updated?

    Hi all. I will be going France in a few weeks in my B8.5 S4. I’ve found the KPH setting but looking into adjusting the xenons. I have found the headlight converter function in the exterior lights settings but it’s greyed out and says unavailable? Anyone else had this. Thanks.

    I drive like miss daisy most the time. Car doesn’t come out in the bad weather so hopefully will be fine. Like I say will speak to the specialists and hopefully get more sense out of them than the dealers and a bit better input.

    Yeah I appreciate that. I can see me owning the car for another year or two. It’s on 46k. I only do about 5k a year and drive pretty steady, garaged without fail too. So doubt I’ll pass 60k in it. However it’s stage 1 from MRC of that matters. However I do drive pretty steady.

    Thanks. I know dealers don’t like talking issues like that so I’ll have a good chat with the specialist Tuesday when I’m off work and see what they recommend.

    Electrical gremlin on boot lights.

    Found one light with a bit of water in and the other showing water passing the foam seal to the boot lid. They're both drying out currently, connections look clean though. Can you buy new seals for the LED ones? For now I'm just going to go over all joints with Vaseline to get me by.
