Yeah well worth checking! Only takes 2 secs to unscrew the single flat head clip and pull the scuttle back. Couldn't believe the state of it!
Side note, I'm going to take my pollen filter out again this weekend and see if I can use my phone camera and torch to check the state of the A/C...
Boring update, there was a slight dusty smell coming from the vents when the fan started running... So I cleared out the absolute forest that was under the scuttle, put a new genuine Audi pollen filter in and ran a disinfectant air con bomb for 10 mins with the doors and windows closed and fan...
Small update, swapped the washer jets out for the fan jet nozzles from a later A6 and replaced the rear tailgate panel as it was scuffed and scratched

State of the old inlet ports [emoji28] thank god I changed for a new one on the off-chance...
Got the car back now, feels much stronger, pulls smoother and no rattle from the flywheel now!
Hopefully give it a detail with some pics this week.
Also got the later A6 fan jet washer nozzles to...
Car still in the garage, timing chain now all fitted, just waiting for injector seats to be ground and polished as there was some damage in one of the ports.
Hoping to have back for the weekend in with the gearbox serviced as well!

Thanks mate! No cost to me, as the bodyshop owed me a favour, but it would definitely be more cost effective to get it wrapped I'd say. It took him a day to sand down, prime and top coat. Another to lacquer and set, another to flat and polish properly so 2-3 days work.
Mine had the same, a few...
Hi all, did the air box mod to my 3.0 V6 TDI yesterday.
Removed the butterfly valve, left the actuator in and kept plugged in. Only other thing I did was get a new intake trumpet, took a heat gun to it and widened it a little but refitted everything, new genuine air filter, cleaned the air box...
Got the roof sprayed in gloss black to match the other gloss trims. There was some stone chips where the windscreen meets the roof that started to get rusty so got it dealt with, finished in black then flatted and polished up. Really happy with the finish!

Hi Bobby, many thanks! I changed all the injector washers, including copper washers, rubber seal rings/leak off rings, clamps and bolts and rocker cover plug seals when I changed all 6 injectors. 1 injector went on me so just changed the whole lot to be safe!
Thank you! Got them direct from Audi. They're only available with Quattro on unfortunately! (well, Genuine that is. You may find an option without Quattro online) Part number for the dash trim is 8K2853189L 7V7
The rest are:

I bought the 'Road Top' Android Auto box from Amazon. Think it was £250 ish at the time. Says it's German made on the box, comes with all sorts of adaptors but the base unit utilises the OEM screen and controls, retains the steering wheel controls and also auto-switches to the reverse camera. A...
Spent last Sunday evening removing the original tailgate spoiler. Used my heat gun and some trim removal tools to remove 12 years worth of adhesive and sealant! Which resulted in me getting impatient and just ripping it off, snapping it in half ♂️
It was then a race against the dying...
