I just got the delivery today, will try to see if the only cap fit or not coz the back of cap is different.
I also bought the rubber sealant for OEM cap, will try that first n see if that would help in stopping oil seepage.

Mine is A3 1.8tfsi, you are probably talking about S3 stock boost. Btw after updating firmware to new alpha firmware and now I can see boost reaching on 15-16psi on map 6.

All the external aftermkt engine mods parts of Golf R or S3 can easily fit in A3, get 3" downpipe you will see the gain on top end.

I had the same grinding issues and it turn out the rear oem pad on the right wheel crack, had to replaced with new pads and grind/machined the rear rotors as it got warp. My front disc rotors are 312mm as well but using EBC red stuffpads which is far more better than oem pads.
sorry to dig this thread up
really helpful info and it help me in finding my A3 1.8tfsi brake rotors size, however there's one mistake rear disc rotor of my A3 is 1KE which is 272mm not 260mm. Thanks
i saw the logs and compare it previous firmware logs, on map1 i m not able to reach 15psi + as its doing 12-13psi now although the temperature has gone warmer here. My A3 1.8tfsi stock boost is 9-10psi and FOL been set at 65
i got the new beta firmware update 2 weeks back and felt super smooth acceleration, however it seem it got slower as i have also measure 0-60mph thru dragy vbox. Do anyone feel slower than before after new beta firmware update?
If u dont like the stock location uprated intercooler then theres uprated fmic available for mk7 Golf GTI or R, do check forged or cts. I think it would need some trimming to fit inside S3 bumper.
it has been tested and the results were outstanding compare to other reputable brand beating all these brand by numbers, do check this website its base on golf gti mk7 but the parts r same as A3/S3 or golf R

I have done oem airbox modded 2.5 years ago on my A3, snow grate removed with cut out the passenger side and blocked the back side of other side (driver) by oem euro plate. All this with afe drop-in filter give slight improved in response and power, keep in mind its better to get inlet-pipe with...
i wont spend so much on this carbon intake for 5-10hp, if u really want carbon look intake check forge motorsport or Revo carbon intake also if u r more into power check VWR600 and save some money for uprated intercooler.
hey mate, i have revo 3" catless downpipe on my A3 1.8tfsi fwd, downpipe was for S3/GolfR and easily fit in my car. I dont think you will have fitting problem even on quattro A3.
