    Try swapping injector over to another cylinder, and clean the seals? I've not had an NA car for years, but vacuum is much more important - than for turbo charged cars. It still just needs fuel, air and spark at the right time.

    10% is quite a lot.. is your speedo also out by 10%? My Golf TDI speedo is out by 10% it shows 33mph when a community speed watch shoes 30mph, and my MPG shows 64mpg which I think is too high. I have tried changing tyre size to get it correct, you can do that with vcds, but that didn't help...

    Turbosmart are quite expensive, but the vacuum pipe from the jungle or directly from the inlet manifold is supposed to open the DV, loads of people delete the n249 I did on my S3 and TT, it removes potential leaks etc. I assume the DV isn't venting to atmosphere like the Forge Splitter?

    The n249 is supposed to connect to the top of the DV., so when changing gear it opens the DV (apart from between 1st and 2nd if under boost), you can bypass the whole thing if you connect the inlet directly to the DV and remove 'the jungle'

    As above, absolutely no idea what you are looking at, or the level of boost as that is flared hard pipe, so assuming you've clamped it correctly, if its still popping off - you may be running 35+ psi?

    Although, you might end up like my AET Hybrid and Chinafold port matched, but impossible to get a gasket.. so (if) when I get round to sorting the clutch out, i need to remove the manifold and get it machined to enable gasket-less like the original AET-380 kits Bill@B5 used to do.

    I think it is because the cracks on the hotside open and breaks the gasket, by pulling it apart, they normally break on the firewall side, I had a 3rd of the gasket simply fly out. if the hotside is cracked the gaskets will only last a few weeks.. i assume you're using stock stainless gaskets...

    It's usually the hotside which is cracked, and changes shape when the EGTs get up past 1100°C and breaks the gasket. Good job with the manifold not cracking (yet) :)

    What AGU parts are being used? Surely you're still using the stock AMK ECU, and they've transferred over the VVT and cam shaft sensor.. and inlet manifold, exhaust manifold and K04 turbo? And just replaced the block and head? In which case the only physical differences are missing 1mm shims...

    Probably need a bit more context? When did you check the oil cap? Like after 6 months sitting in the garage or 20 minutes after driving to the seaside? You can run the engine with the cap off.. if you have low oil pressure or low oil level pretty sure you'll get an alarm on the DIS..

    You want an immo defeated ECU from a BAM, AMK or BFV... the BFV has a completely structure but can have a BAM map written on it (pretty sure) I think the BFV is like the BEA (225 wideband in US) regarding map structure and people unable to get an XDF for their BEA simply overwrote with a BAM...

    Just buy the code off ebay, then if the code doesn't work you claim your fiver back from PayPal... pretty sure they put the code into an algorithm.. Most cars with stock radios don't need a code....
