    Next, fitted the 034 Motorsport strut brace. This one is way more solid than the stock OEM one. Very easy to fit, took all of 3 mins. Final pic from the recent Simply Audi event at Beaulieu.

    i got bored and removed the audi logo from the engine cover, (it just pinged out with4 small pegs on the bottom), sanded it down, and painted it Mythos Black to match the car. Better than the silver i think anyway.

    I didn’t take any pics of the install, but i did change the brake fluid one the car as it was due, and installed 034 Motorsport stainless steel braided brake like kit at the same time. P/N: 034-303-0015. very easy to do. Not noticed any difference yet though.

    Hi, do you have DRC on the car? i noticed mine looked odd for about 2 months after i did some work in it, (it was up on jack stands at the front for about 2 weeks in the garage), then when i put it back down the front looked lower than before and the rear wheel gap looked massive! its sorted...

    they came off ok. had to poke a socket set extension bar and bit under the plastic hose to reach the bolts. bit tricky but not impossible.

    Carbon covers

    The ECS tuning silicone intake pipe and carbon fiber airbox cover are going up for sale shortly. ECS have stopped making the airbox cover now, (although you can still buy the ECU cover), so message me if your interested. mint condition, as new.

    MRC did a great job on the car, and i was surprised with the results. Considering its running a stock exhaust with the standard downpipes, cats and a GPF still, it put out 465bhp with the oem map. MRC ECU & TCU tune, and thats now 546bhp, and 777Nm. Needless to say, im very pleased.

    Maxton Designs lower lip kit going on now, fitted on my own, so the only thing i would say is get some clamps to hold it in place whilst fitting. Front bumper off again…. used some 3M UHB tape as well as the supplied fitting kit. installed all 14 bolts in the end no just the 2 showing here...
