    Audi A5 3.0TDI V6 Cab

Hi guys, I’m looking to buy a 2011 A5 3.0TDI V6 cab but was wondering if there were any common issues with these cars that I should be aware of and look for before making the purchase. The car has done 118,000 miles. I’ve had a couple of Audis before (A4 1.9TDI and A6 2.0TDI) and loved them but...

    Wobble When Idle

Turns out the dual mass flywheel had broken up and destroyed not only the starter motor but also the engine. Not worth repairing so she’s being scrapped. Such a shame. Cheers guys

    Wobble When Idle

So driving home last night vibrations went nuts and heard a loud bang under the bonnet then all was calm! Parked up, had a quick look at the engine - nothing. Got in the car to head to work this morning and it wouldn’t start! Got RAC to tow me to the local garage where he suspects the dual mass...

    Wobble When Idle

Yes sounds similar! Although I’m now hearing a chirping noise from engine when in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Not so much in 5th and 6th. The sort of chipping you hear from bugs when you’re on holiday haha

    Wobble When Idle

Manual. Guy I spoke to at garage today thought it could be the dual mass flywheel also! Found a LUK clutch kit and dual mass fly wheel online for £330. Is this good?

    Wobble When Idle

Hi guys, I have a 2005 Audi A6 C6 2.0TDi which has done 142,000 miles and earlier this week it suddenly developed this wobble whilst idling?! Don’t notice it when driving but doesn’t go away when you come to lights/junctions etc. I cleaned my EGR valve out back in November and that resolved the...

2.0TDi Oil Pump / Balancer shaft problems - the definitive guide! Audi VW Skoda SEAT

Yes I know, he had no idea what the noise was though unfortunately. I've just checked and the engine code is BLB. I have no space, tools or the knowledge to do anything like this to be honest.

2.0TDi Oil Pump / Balancer shaft problems - the definitive guide! Audi VW Skoda SEAT

Hi guys, I have a 2005 Audi A6 2 litre S Line and had the cambelt and water pump done on it a few weeks back... when I picked it up the mechanic mentioned a funny noise but couldn't say where it was coming from but to be aware that something may crop up in the near future. Lo and behold the...

Afternoon guys, Yesterday I had a new intercooler, cam belt and water pump fitted to my 2.0 TDI S Line and today I'm getting the oil pressure warning coming up every now and again whilst driving! Seems more than just coincidence! The garage I had the work done in, is closed today and he is away...

Hi guys, I know this is a common problem but I can honestly say I can't find a definitive answer as to how this can be fixed! I have an 05 plate 2.0l TDi S line and the radio signal comes and goes especially in urban areas and on smaller channels, (radio 1 and 2 etc are fine). Please, what can...

    Clutch on Way Out?

Hi again guys, When ever I pull away in first it feels abit like the car is loosing traction and the wheels are spinning slightly, even though the ground is dry and tread is good? Also, as I come to a stop and put it into neutral (am only pressing the brake pedal and not the clutch too) the car...
