    You've got to love these garages that when suspecting an engine seize/oil pump low pressure failure that they just start it up and drive it about. So much more potential damage they could have caused.

    The actuator is easy to get to in an A4, an A3 should be too much harder with your engine rotated 90°. But why didn't you just change your whole intake manifold for a flapless BKD one? Then the actuator and vac line us redundant and you gave no flaps to go wrong.

    I took my EGR off completely though, and the cooler. No issues at all. Where is your blanking plate, between the EGR and the ASV? My only blanking plate is where the cooler pipe went into the turbo housing.

    What experience do you have of H&R and Eibach Sportlines? I did a lot of research before fitting Sportlines to my **** dragging Avant.     Not a lot if choice on a quattro. For some reason Eibach don't do Sportlines for them.

    I second that about the pinchbolt, there's a good YouTube video ( don't seem to be able to link them here anymore) showing how. Most other bolts should come undone ok unless totally rusted, and the rear springs are a real pain.

    I've had both rears snap in the past, looking at previous receipts. I really don't understand why people rate S line springs at all.

    18mm. My old was was easy enough to get off apart from one bolt holding a centre bush. No way was it coming out, so I had to recip saw it. Much easier on a BRE also only having a single exhaust.

    That's because you clearly haven't tried Bilsteins. Admittedly my old ones were old, but there really is no comparison.

    You don't get pressure issues until your hex key rounds off. There is no way if knowing how much without checking it.
