Evening guys, I've recently changed the OSR caliper on the B6 and have bled it but without success, I have got air out of it and clean fluid coming through from the M/C.
With the engine off:
The brake peddle is soft, pump it up 2 or 3 times and its solid and up the top and doesn't sink...
Bottom paragraph on this page:
"The main difference between GL-4 and GL-5 gear oils is the amount of EP additives. Sulphur/Phosphorus containing products are used as EP-additive. This additive has the purpose to...
Thanks for the reply :)
I'm not sure if the FWD boxes are spec'd for GL-4 or GL-5 tbh, but when I asked around a couple of years ago I remember someone saying "Changing it could do more harm than good" Which I thought was an odd thing to say, and why I haven't done it before. Anyway last week...
The Haynes manual suggests G50 75w-90
The part number I got from Audi was G 052 911 A2 Which when I look at it on Ebay comes up as 75w-80.
Is there much difference in 75w-80 and 75w-90?

I don't want so go silly (it's a daily) but also don't want to be fitting cheap parts .
My plan is to replace:
Both front wheel...
Well hopefully I have tracked down a set of brackets from a TT (time will tell!) And I've just cross referenced the disc part number and it seems it's fitted to quite a few cars:
So it looks like I have a set on the Allroad and a set on the B6 to choose from for test fitting :-) Happy days :-)
Not touched them to be honest mate, the Berlingo alternator has died, so have ordered a cam belt kit to do at the same time, and will pull it apart tomorrow to get the alternator repaired on Monday and then can hopefully crack on with the B5. The blower motor sounded like it was dying on Monday...
