    Privacy glass

I did the tint job last summer. I am with acoustic/heat resistant windows and you can't feel the heat on the skin but you can very much see it with your eyes. I am with 35% tint and kids still complain from the sun light from time to time. My previous car had the shades and they were more...

    Auto Hold Retrofit

I did the retrofit with their kit 2 weeks ago. They were pointing wrong plugs C + B but in fact the plugs that are part of the retrofit are A + B.

    Auto Hold Retrofit

Today I just did it with the kit from Kufatec. If anyone has questions - please ask while I still remember all the details. Their manual is not 100% correct right now. And here is a video how it works just a few minutes after the retrofit.

Growing vibration while in D or R (S-Tronic)

Currently I have no vibrations and I am about to retrofit the Auto Hold so I will be able to tell you if there is a difference before and after the retrofit.

Growing vibration while in D or R (S-Tronic)

I think it is balanced, when the clutch is starting to engage then the brakes are released. Keeping the car still with the clutch I've seen on cars with torque converter only. My former Toyota was working like that. But it would be good if there is someone that can enlighten us about it.

Growing vibration while in D or R (S-Tronic)

What I have read about the Auto Hold is that it remembers the brake pressure and uses the ABS central to keep the pressure in the system simulating that you are holding the brakes. If the clutch operation is linked to the brake pedal applied/released then it is huge disadvantage to use the Auto...

Growing vibration while in D or R (S-Tronic)

I find it difficult to understand what is the difference between you pressing the brakes harder without Auto Hold and Auto Hold keeping the pressure for you? It should be the same (with vibrations) either way.

    Facelift Brake fluid change

I confirm. When I checked the situation for my 2018 B9 the dealer told me it is due for brake fluid change but then realized this is for the newer model. So it is 2 years.

    Rust Forming Already???

If you bought it from Audi dealer then they are obligated to sell you car with all the warranties as other cars. If the paint job is done in Audi dealership then you still have warranty for corrosion as far as I know.

A/C ON & ECO not selectable when engine is on?

I know what the smell of bacteria in A/C is. But I always can scent when A/C is working and it is different than the mold smell. It changes the air. The B9 I have has 22 000 km on the clock and the previous one I bought (Toyota) was 7 km on the clock and still I can scent it. Probably it is I...

A/C ON & ECO not selectable when engine is on?

I don't think it is common to damage the condenser but it can happen as in any other car. I don't need the compressor in the winter so I leave it off. It comes back one when I activate air recirculation and I do that at least once in the week due to old diesels so it works at least once a week...

A/C ON & ECO not selectable when engine is on?

It should be warranty issue. It is not normal to loose it so fast. Many people doesn't know but the A/C compressor should be started at least few times every month even you don't need it, so the oil inside lubricates the sealing and prevents the refrigerant to escape in the air. Usually in the...
