Sorry for reviving this thread again but I’m looking to order this cooler for my pfl RS3 to go stage 2+. Well I’m buying the infinit performance one and I’ve been told that it is exactly the same design as the Evo1. Obviously I take it that it would more than suffice for my pfl when it’s sound...
Managed to find some 5mm hubcentric spacers from ST Suspensions, they do a DZX+ with hub/spigot extensions to fit both front and rear axles. They’re expensive at £207 for everything including extended lug bolts and delivery, but a very good product nonetheless.
I did enquire sith 42 Draft...
I’m struggling to find the exact ones I need for my car mate. They definitely fit a 2016 RS3? I want front and rears for aftermarket wheels (Motec Ultralights MCR2) I know that I’ll need the tapered bolts at 30mm but not sure on which exact spacers as there are a few variations on their website.
This is exactly what I thought chap, hence the post. Just wanted someone else to clarify haha. I already have aftermarket wheels with a wider offset but just wanted to go a little wider, I guess I’ll have to just have it how it is as I can’t thibk of any other alternative.
I’m looking to try and widen my stance just a tad more. The only way I can do it really is if I skim down my 11mm forge hubcentric spacers. However, I have a few reservations in doing it. Will they still be hubcentric if I skim down to say 5-6mm? As they have like a beveled edge to sit...
I think it will be okay! But then another part of me says it won’t haha! I’m sure people have gone wider than that before though and not really had much of an issue. Some have at least 15mm and that would be ET34 on a stock wheel, people even use the 20mm spacer which is way too much imo but...
Looks lovely chap, like what you did with the stock wheels. What do you reckon haha, do I go for it. I’m sure it’ll take me to ET35. It really could do with coming out just a tad on the fronts, rears will be close though.
Yeah I thought as much, my springs have fully settled now too. Yes so the tyre wall would have been better for you to run those spacers and if you’d have had the R02 then it would have rubbed more wouldn’t it. I had them on mine before I changed them, looks a mint chunky tyre and really suited...
What do the MSS lower the car front a rear? Isn’t it more or less the same as the Eibach sportlines which I have? Light rubbing isn’t too bad I suppose, if you had stock wheels then that would take you to ET37. If I go for the 8’s it will take me to ET35.
It is mate, I’ve done a bit of research today and last night and yep, 8mm smallest hubcentric you can get.
I have Motec ultralight 19” on 235/35 tyres with the offset ET43 and I’m lowered on Eibach Sportline springs. Do you think I’d get away with it, trying the 8’s?
The car is going to need an oil change service at the start of next year, aswell as new plugs. I’m stage 1 MRC, so what plugs would be the best suited for my car please? Also, would I need to change the coil packs too? The car has only done 16,500 miles.
